In the beginning ....
was the Word, and the word was with God and the Word was God (Jn 1:1). That's what John tells us at the beginning of his gospel. And the "word became flesh and dwelt among us" (Jn 1:14) or as Eugene Peterson says "moved into the neighborhood."That's what this blog is about: to keep you up to date on Clear River Community Church's efforts to reach our neighbors, our region, and eventually our world with the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ.
On this page, you will find:
- information about the missionaries we support
- links to send notes of encouragement to them
- photos from their travels
- links to help you go on short term trips
- how to support mission work
- how to learn more about missions.
We look forward to sharing the Great Adventure with you as we obey the Great Commandment (Mt 22:37) and carry out the Great Commission (Mt 28:18-20).

Good start Dave! This gives us a good basis to work from. I have prayer requests to add and I can start funneling info to you. How about add "Missionaries" as the top listing in the right hand column - we'll start with Al Dyck as he will be here in two weeks. I'll get info to you on him.

David,
What a wonderful idea! I am excited to learn more about the missionaries we are supporting. When Al Dyck came, I was hoping to hear more about the impact they are having in Europe. I realized that he was more in an administrative role, but still hoped to hear about the numbers of lost we have reached or planted a seed with.
