December Spotlight: Update on Al and Deela Dyck

Here is the latest blog entry from Al Dyck:

Thankfully Deela has started holding down some mild and soft foods. Her energy is coming back slowly where she’s now able to be up and about in the house for some time throughout the day. She has lost probably 9 kilos (20 lbs) so we hope she can regain some strength to enjoy the holidays here. The kids and I are going Christmas tree hunting this evening!
Pray for me as I speak this weekend at Crossroads on Christ Revealing God to us! The incarnation - God becoming man making a way for us to be forgiven and be right with God - the biggest miracle of all! It’s been helpful for me to have to prepare for this and focus on Christ’s work in our world AND in my life. I’d encourage you to take a few minutes and reflect on how Christ’s coming impacts your life today!

Please continue to pray for the Dycks during this season of advent. Continue to pray for strength for Deela and her battle with ovarian cancer. Pray also for strength and encouragement for their children (Daniel, Bobbly, and Katie).

Continue to visit Al Dyck's blog for the latest updates, as well as this blog for the latest updates on all of our missionaries.
